KOAK Design as an alternative to Semihandmade
Just like Semihandmade, KOAK Design supplies fronts for IKEA kitchens. KOAK Design supplies custom-made wooden fronts for kitchens. KOAK Design's custom-made wooden fronts fit perfectly on IKEA METOD kitchen cabinets. The wooden kitchen fronts are made to measure in our workshop in oak, bamboo, walnut and Barnwood. These fronts are also available in different colours. See the complete range of our wooden kitchen fronts. Because our furniture makers will work with your design, the kitchen will be delivered exactly according to your wishes. When the kitchen doors are delivered, they already have predrilled holes. This makes it easy to fit wooden kitchen doors to IKEA METOD kitchen cabinets.
How we work with the IKEA planner and agreements
Based on a completed IKEA kitchen planner or supplied sketch, we will have a joint (online) meeting. During this meeting we will discuss the design and, if necessary, give some comments. All this will hopefully lead to the realization of your dream kitchen!
We love nature's design
Our oak wood is solid in order to preserve its unique natural look. This means that there are knots in the wood and that the annual rings are visible at the end of the wood, unlike veneers or wood built up in layers.
We work mainly with European oak and bamboo. The wood we use is FSC-certified. Both are natural materials that are already very beautiful without treatment. Treatment with a protective oil is therefore sufficient for everyday use.
Bamboo has the property of growing very quickly, selective cutting means that, by definition, there is no deforestation. Bamboo has a high degree of hardness, stability and durability.
Mosaic, concrete and natural stone worktops also adapt very well to our kitchens, because each worktop has its own design.
