How does it work?
At KOAK, we make high-quality Scandinavian kitchens based on the rock-solid IKEA METOD cabinets. This allows you to save significantly on costs, while your kitchen looks just as beautiful as any other custom-made kitchen. Sounds good, right? Here's how it works:
- Design your kitchen: start with the basic layout in the free IKEA Kitchen Planner. Choose the shape, cabinets, sink and other details. Ready? Save your design to share with us later.
- Choose colours and materials: view our products and select light colours such as white, grey or pastel, and combine them with natural materials such as wood and natural stone. Not sure? Request a sample board.
- Request a quote: send us your design and requirements, and receive a no-obligation quote with prices and advice on layout, colours and materials. Discuss this in our showroom or via a video call. Agree? Then let's get started!
- Assemble your kitchen: we manufacture and deliver all customised products that fit seamlessly with IKEA METOD cabinets. You can order cabinets and appliances yourself at affordable online prices. Assemble it yourself with our manuals or feel free to ask for help if needed.
You are making a sustainable choice!
Would you like a new Scandinavian kitchen, but with as little impact on the environment as possible? Then it is wise to renovate rather than build from scratch. KOAK Design is the perfect solution: simply leave your existing IKEA kitchen in place, and we will provide new fronts, a worktop and handles. This will give your kitchen a fresh new Scandinavian look.
Would you prefer a completely new kitchen? Even then, you are being sustainable at KOAK Design. Our fronts are made from fairly produced solid wood with FSC certification. In addition, IKEA METOD cabinets are largely made from FSC-certified or recycled wood. Another advantage of IKEA base cabinets is that this system is modular and flexible, allowing you to modify or expand your kitchen later on. This prevents waste. Our fronts can be reused if you want a different finish in the future by sanding them down and reworking them. Very sustainable.
