Currently, kitchens with rounded corners are a real trend. With KOAK Design, we have responded to this nicely, recently making kitchens with a rounded finish in our workshop. So unlike in the past, the corners are not only tight, but there is also the option of playful and round. The option for a rounded corner exists for both oak and bamboo.
The round corners blend seamlessly into your Ikea kitchen design and are available in Oak and Bamboo in the various colours. The rounding has a radius of 20 cm, meaning your island will be about 20 cm longer per side. Installation is easy, thanks to the compatibility of these elements with the Ikea kitchen system.

Refined wooden kitchen with round shapes
KOAK Design supplies kitchen fronts in oak, bamboo, Barnwood and walnut veneers. So the wood is made to measure in the workshop and in the oil room the wood is given the colour you have requested. Possibly even with milled-in handle.
By using the round corner elements, you get a refined wooden kitchen with round shapes. We can have a concrete or terrazzo top in the same shape made on site.

You need to design the new KOAK Design kitchen yourself. Don't worry, this is not very difficult and where necessary we will of course be happy to help! You can design by filling in the IKEA kitchen planner. Prefer to design on paper? That's possible, too. As long as the sketch has the measurements, our sales team can get to work on it. After receiving your wishes and requirements, we will draw up a no-obligation quotation. We will then schedule an appointment for a showroom visit. If you prefer a Zoom meeting, this is also possible!
The kitchens of KOAK Design
KOAK Design is a company that makes real wooden kitchen doors for the interior cabinets of IKEA kitchens.
This method makes it possible to realise designer kitchens at an affordable price. The wood used by KOAK is custom-made in our workshop. Our team of furniture makers work here all week long to realise all fronts, side panels and handles, among other things. They coordinate this with the sales and production team in the office. The office and workshop are located right next to each other. So the lines of communication are short and consultation is fast and direct.
We love nature's design
Our oak wood is solid in order to preserve its unique natural look. This means that there are knots in the wood and that the annual rings are visible at the end of the wood, unlike veneers or wood built up in layers.
We work mainly with European oak and bamboo. The wood we use is FSC-certified. Both are natural materials that are already very beautiful without treatment. Treatment with a protective oil is therefore sufficient for everyday use.
Bamboo has the property of growing very quickly, selective cutting means that, by definition, there is no deforestation. Bamboo has a high degree of hardness, stability and durability.
Mosaic, concrete and natural stone worktops also adapt very well to our kitchens, because each worktop has its own design.
