Working method

The wooden kitchen fronts are made to measure in our workshop. Our workshop is located in Abbenbroek, as is our showroom. Here our furniture makers make the fronts for the IKEA kitchen cabinets in the right size, the right colour and provide pre-drilled holes. This work makes it easy to attach the kitchen doors to IKEA METOD. The IKEA Hack is therefore easy to carry out yourself.

The fronts made by KOAK Design

So the doors for the new kitchen are supplied by KOAK Design. These kitchen cabinet doors are made in our workshop. The workshop is located next to our showroom. Here, our team of carpenters works hard to deliver the fronts for the new kitchens on time.

First, they make the kitchen fronts to the right size, then they will provide the doors with pre-drilled holes. The kitchen doors need to be fixed by yourself, but because the holes have already been drilled, this is easy. After this, the fronts only need to be provided with the requested colour. Het ontwerpen via IKEA

Het ontwerpen van de nieuwe keuken gebeurt via IKEA. Het gratis online programma IKEA keukenplanner maakt het mogelijk om eenvoudig je nieuwe keuken samen te stellen. De IKEA planner is via deze link in te vullen. Mocht het invullen van de IKEA keukenplanner niet lukken, dan kan je ons ook een handmatige schets toesturen. Ook hiermee kunnen wij aan de slag, wel is het noodzaak van dat we de schets voorzien is van afmetingen.

De verkoopafspraak

Als wij de schets ontvangen en offerte ontvangen hebben zullen wij hiermee aan de slag gaan. Wanneer het plan voor de keuken goed vorm begint te krijgen is het tijd om een afspraak in te plannen. De afspraak zal plaatsvinden bij ons in de showroom in Abbenbroek, Zuid-Holland. Mocht dit niet uitkomen is een online meeting via Zoom ook mogelijk! Tijdens dit gesprek zullen we de gehele keuken bespreken en hopelijk uiteindelijk tot realisatie van de nieuwe keuken komen!

We love nature's design

Our oak wood is solid in order to preserve its unique natural look. This means that there are knots in the wood and that the annual rings are visible at the end of the wood, unlike veneers or wood built up in layers.

We work mainly with European oak and bamboo. The wood we use is FSC-certified. Both are natural materials that are already very beautiful without treatment. Treatment with a protective oil is therefore sufficient for everyday use.

Bamboo has the property of growing very quickly, selective cutting means that, by definition, there is no deforestation. Bamboo has a high degree of hardness, stability and durability.

Mosaic, concrete and natural stone worktops also adapt very well to our kitchens, because each worktop has its own design.
