General terms and conditions

  • Pipes have to be built into the walls or under the plinth height (8 cm) on the walls. There is NO room behind the cabinets, except in a sunken kitchen.

  • All measurements are centre to centre! (from FINISHED floor and walls)
  • There must be a working toilet and electricity.

  • The room must be dry (minimum 10 days drying time), level, square, easily accessible and broom clean. The floor under the kitchen must be laid or evenly filled.

  • No other suppliers may be working during the work. This is to prevent damage and/or loss. Should there be any suppliers present, then we do not take any responsibility for damage, loss or theft.

  • The kitchen must be placed on a completely flat finished floor. (Kitchen is not placed on blocks / wooden elevations).

  • The tiling / painting of the walls has to be done after installation of the kitchen / worktop.

  • Electricity connections under the skirting board may also be flexible loose cables with waterproof WCD on the floor.

  • Walls where upper cabinets, shelves and/or extractor hood are hung are hard walls or plasterboard with reinforcement behind it.

  • In case of an island hood, the ceiling must be reinforced around the drain hole to fix the hood.

  • Fragile floors should be covered with plaster or hardboard.

  • Kitchen cabinets and equipment etc. in the immediate vicinity. If the equipment is not present at the time of completion and you ask us to do it again, we will charge you for it.

  • It should not be necessary to disconnect the gas, water or electricity before connecting the equipment. If this is not the case, we will not connect the equipment, tap and/or sink.

  • In case of a concrete top made on site, only assemble the cabinets. The drawers, doors, appliances, etc. are only installed after the top has been finished.

  • When installing a kitchen, the mechanics do NOT take the waste with them. This is because most of the waste is from the IKEA boxes and the packaging of the appliances, which we do not supply.

  • If the final floor has not yet been laid during the installation, the customer is responsible for the final height of the kitchen and the skirting board. Costs for the later installation of the skirting-board(s) will be charged.

  • If the gas tap and stopcock have not been installed, our technician can install them for an additional €100,-.

  • Any parking costs are to be paid by the customer.
  • We kindly request that you carefully consider the planning of the installation/concrete slab, as we are obliged to charge 20% of the costs in the event of cancellation/postponement less than 14 days before commencement.
