Our bamboo kitchens are based on sturdy IKEA METOD cabinets. We then add custom bamboo fronts, worktops and handles, tailored entirely to your wishes. Each front is made to measure and pre-drilled, making installation a breeze. The worktop is also made to measure, so everything fits perfectly. KOAK Design works exclusively with FSC-certified bamboo from responsibly managed forests. We use fast-growing Moso bamboo, produced without fertilisers or pesticides and processed according to strict quality and environmental standards. The fast-growing hardwood alternative, with sustainable forest management and CO2 storage in bamboo.
This way, you can be sure that your bamboo kitchen has been made responsibly. IKEA also only uses FSC-certified or recycled wood for its METOD cabinets. Want to be even more sustainable? Then choose to renovate your current kitchen: keep your existing cabinets and replace them with new bamboo fronts, a worktop and accessories. Less waste, but a completely new look.
